Knelsen Sand & Gravel Ltd. holds a Certificate of Recognition (COR) with the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). We also maintain membership in:

To be successful, such a program must start with proper attitudes toward injury and illness prevention on the part of both supervisors and employees.
To fulfill this commitment, management will provide and maintain a safe, healthy work environment that follows industry standards and legislative requirements. Management will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards that could result in property damage or personal injury / illness.
Every employee, including management, is responsible and accountable for carrying out the company's overall safety initiatives. Full, active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely, and, wherever possible, improving safety measures. Safe teamwork among all workers on the job site is essential.
An injury and accident free workplace is our goal. Through continuous safety and loss control efforts, we can accomplish this.
